The problem with induction hobs with built in extractors is that they are not that powerful in comparison with a conventional extractor

I am in a 2nd floor flat and the electrician says I don’t have the power supply for a standard induction (and layout means it would be very difficult to get this remedied). Have seen plug in inductions are available, are they any good?

That is unfortunate, unfortunately I don’t any experience with plug in options and so I can’t give you the best advice on this sorry. 😔
