i love seeing the similarities between people playing plate up and actual real life restaurants. the yelling, the anger from both servers and cooks towards each other, nobody knowing what the fuck others are doing, it's all so reminiscent of a real kitchen i could almost cry.

Haha yeah i was thinking the same, it's rare to find a kitchen that doesn't devolve into this when things start going wrong. Usually controlled chaos somehow works though and it's pretty satisfying when it does. Last kitchen i worked in was an open kitchen so there was a lot less shouting and was more relaxed which i prefer but it's harder to whip the team back into shape if you can't shout orders down the kitchen plus the atmosphere is completely different.

The fact that Glen was one of the few people that actually did well amidst all of the chaos was a surprise. What wasn't the surprise was Rob blaming others for his mistakes as well as Stan being Stan. But the true hero of it all was Zam. He was taken away his job and put as a simple decoration for so long. Once they gave him his job back, not only was he the most efficient of everyone, but also was the happiest person in the world. Seeing it all in the VOD, I had to admit - the session was TRUE chaos.

So all I really took from this was: Glen and Kaif carried this team to kingdom come, along with Brad (eventually), Nia and Butler. Stan just tried his best, as he normally tends to, bless him. Rob was being... well, Rob. Kate was actively ANGRY at Rob, as is customary. Ebbz existed. I think. Sam and Johanna were being utter memelords or trolling, with Brad being here initially. And then Zam. He got shoved out of the way and then eventually rose to the top with Nia, Butler, Glen and Kaif. SR. You love to see it.
