Hello Dianne! I hope all is well! What my mom does is puts the potatoes in the fridge in one of those drawers and she also keeps the bread(s) or like Naan, bagels and stuff in the fridge as well and they last a really long time!. She places like a cloth on the bottom on the drawer and she places the potatoes in. She does this with the onions as well. We are Indian so we have flour and basmati rice and my mom put them in containers in the fridge to prevent bugs! I hope this helps :) and I love how the kitchen turned out and how bright it is! I hope you have a great rest of your day!🥳💕

Woooow kitchen looks amazing! Crazy how a lick of paint can change it so much. Its a lovely good quality kitchen so it's great you're not ripping it out straight away. It looks so fresh

The kitchen refresh turned out fantastic! Love the white cabinets with the black tile and dark worktops! Well done! Great find with the suit at the charity shop! A pinch and a tuck here and there and a bit of a shortened hem will make it absolutely fabulous. I think the bright floral blouse is a very happy fabric but the sizing is much too big for you. You might be able to fake the size discrepancy from your proper size if you remove the shoulder pads. Or better yet, take it to your tailor when you take in your suit to be altered. They will be able to do wonders! 😍

Hi Diane, just a tip, i put the pkt rice in the wok, stir until its hot then add the eggs, keep stirring, add cooked pea's if wanted, there you have egg fried rice! I just love that jacket & trousers, and that top with shoulder pads is what i love, the colours suit you, bring back the shoulder pads i say, it gives one more shape, especially when one gets older..Love, love the kitchen, makes it look so much bigger! Hi Dianne, It's really good that you encourage charity shops. As you and Joe have shown in past vlogs, charity shopping is great for ecology and our planet. I often used them when I lived in England. I now live in the Czech Republic and they are not popular here.

You can't go wrong with a basic white kitchen. There are some great colourful kitchens but they can date very easily. With white it looks bigger, brighter and will never go out of fashion as you can always keep it looking up to date with accessories. Loving the grey suit, especially the looser trousers.

Always make sure to remove potatoes from plastic bags(mesh bags are ok)this will keep them from spoiling/rotting as quick because the gases aren't trapped inside the bag, several sheets of paper towel/kitchen roll in the bin or drawer will help as well! Nice job on the kitchen it looks great!
