I’ve heard similar things from my local gym. They won’t pass you if you need to practice because you’re supposed to not be hesitant on the way to set up your belay and do it right every time you do it.

This makes me miss climbing so much!! Had a bouldering accident 5 yrs ago where I broke my ankle and dislocated my elbow.. now I’m traumatized and can’t climb unless I got a rope 🥲. Also still salty that someone stole my chalkbag that I handmade after the wambulance took me away 😂

that's what scares me the most, I've seen it happen in person when we used to boulder in DTLA and it was the most painful thing to watch and not being bale to help. The whole gym was quiet for an hour after he was taken by the ambuLAMB. How's your ankle and elbow now?

@@WahWu That must’ve been scary! The opposite happened for me-people kept climbing all around me until the medics came. Prolly didn’t help that I was cracking jokes the whole time 😅. I’m much better now! I took up yoga to help with my recovery and discovered a new passion. I’m now a certified yoga teacher 😁.
