Great video we started our kitchen reno. I would like to say if your ordering kitchen cabinets and not using custom bring your contractor with you , like ours suggested we spent 3hrs with Rona+ lady she was Awesome!! but contractors know little extra things you need for putting kitchens in. He was great! As you said we just excited about the layout and focused on the look not the little things he knows you need.. And also we didn’t know cabinets come in white only the doors come in the colour you pick so painting the cabinets cost money (also could just be the cabinet brand we used that do that) AND those cool little cabinets that pull out that holds spices or utensils ARE 3x the price of a double deep drawers are 😢. So those cool kitchen drawers you see and say oh I want that gonna be $$$$$ just heads up

We are hoping to redo our kitchen next summer or the summer after so I have watching your videos. And now I’m thinking maybe I should hire somebody to help with the design versus just doing it myself. We are huge on the DIY project and they turn out good but I don’t want to mess up my kitchen.

I suddenly feel backwards... I though of 'safety' and 'maintenance' very early on. Have you ever done a video on Toe Kick Drawers? Small kitchen, desperate for space/storage, thinking about adding them to existing cabinets.

Not specifically on toe kick drawers, though I have mentioned them in various videos. I don't think there's an issue with them if you are looking for a little extra storage and are fine with their location.

Wow, so many things I haven't thought about. Baby boomer here. Is it okay to take out the stove completely and use a convection/microwave only?

Are you going to ever sell the place? No Stove will really stop most buyers cold. If you aren't planning on ever moving and know you'll never need to(or can afford to retro fit a stove in later)? I'd say go for what works for you.

@Bg-xk1uw wow, that was fast, thanks. The stove is almost dead, the connection will still be available. I've a very small kitchen and want a pantry/shelf/convection microwave in there on a shelf. I'm not planning on selling. When I die it'll be someone else's problem. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

Yeah, I agree with the first comment. It's technically "ok" and if the space is there to easily reinstall a stove later on in the event of a home sale, I think it's a decent decision. Thanks for watching.
