Hope you all try this recipe to taste aromatic and authentic Keerai Pullipu
KEERAI PULLIPU - INGREDIENTS:
Note: kindly use the same measurement cup to follow this ratio
1. Arai Keerai - Greens/Spinach - 1 Katu
2.Tamarind - 1 Big Size Lemon
3. Gingelly Oil - 4 Spoons
4. Perungayam - Asfoetedia - 1 pinch
5. Kadugu - Mustard - 2 Spoon
6. Ulatham Parupu - Urad Dal - 2 Spoon
7. Thuvaram Parupu - Toor Dal - 5 Spoon
8. Sivapu Milagai - Red Chilly - 4 Nos
9. Pachai Milagai - Green Chilli's - 6 No's
10. Vendhayam - Fenugreek - 1 Spoon
11. Sambar Podi - Sambar Powder - 1 Spoon
12. Kalu Upu - Salt - 1 Spoon
Preparation Method:
1. Pour the Gingelly oil into the hot pan, First add pinch of Asfoetedia then add Mustard, Urad Dal, Toor Dal & Red chilli's & Fenugreek, then saute it until becomes brown color
2. Add Green chilli's and spinach and then saute it for 5 minutes wait till spinach is cooked
3. Meanwhile, soak the tamarind in Luke warm water and get pot of tamarind water
4. Add the Tamarind water and bring it to boil add salt as per
your taste
5. Finally add the sambar powder
KEERAI PULLIPU is ready to eat
