It's crazy how different cabinets are built there compared to here in the US. We just use a bunch of plywood attached to a face frame, generally. The inset doors are super clean!

Well, yeah lol, but it looks like veneered ply or veneered particle board. US cabinets are just straight birch plywood, with a UV clear coat. The only variation is the face frames and outside of the side panels. They'll be painted or stained accordingly. That's mass production for you, though.

What did you use as your scribe block to get it perfect so when you cut the line you marked, the front edge is flush with the units either side?

I have put the panel in place and measured the overlap and i left 20mm for the door and what ever has left i cut a block at the same the same thickness and use it as scribe tool

Remember there is a wire that poweers the spot lignts instaled under the unit i do not want that fine wire to be cut by the edge of the unit
