As a cabinetmaker I appreciate your method of scribing with the track saw to get it close and using the belt sander to sneak up on your line. Comes out perfect every time.

@@S-Mc84 sorry, to clarify I do that same process but use a small belt sander to sneak up on my line, I don't have the $100,000 for the full Festool lineup. My dad taught me with a coping saw to back bevel the cut by hand and clean it up with a block plane after. I still put a 10-15 degree back bevel on it with the track saw now so I have less material to sand and the front of the edge stays nice and crisp. I've done it like that since 2007.

The blade on the track saws cut anti clockwise so it pulls the track down to the surface hence no need for clamps... Experience fitters know this and TBH top work fella as always
