I 100% agree with her! Hunting animals is the circle of life. That sense of respect for the animal comes from being close to where your food comes from. We've lost that in a lot of ways in Western society.

Hi! I used to live on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska, and I unfortunately didn't fully appreciate all of the beauty and treasures around me. Since then, I've been studying to become a Mycologist; with my renewed appreciation for the forest and its bounties, I fully intend on returning with the hope of taking advantage of these wild treats for food, medicine, and science!
