Ashley, this video series is beautiful and inspiring! as a grown-up in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong, i’ve only cooked once in the wild during camping. Having full kitchen experience in the nature and mushroom hunting in the forests are now on my bucket list.

I went to hunt some morels after the Paradise fire last fall, the area looked perfect but I found nothing...however, I did find a ton of those cup-like mushrooms everywhere. I will go back this weekend to look in the same area again.

Awesome! Langdon Cook is the best - love his book The Mushroom Hunters. He inspired us to search out burn morels! Now we make burn morel maps every season and chase them all over the West. If you want a copy of our maps, let me know!
