Your tomato problem happened because you didn't remove the seeds - they make the purée and the chopped slices too watery. Easily removing them with your fingers makes for much better tomato anything! :)

I have one! This is a terrific little chopper. Small and light, it gets the job done nicely, with no fuss and it's easy to clean. I keep it on my kitchen counter at all times...Ex: I will chop 5-6 garlic cloves together with 1/2 an onion and pop this right into my pan to sauté as a base for an omelette...or even to spread over my salad...chop peppers as well for omelette...and Voilà!

Is food processor and food chopper the same?
@rickved3 жыл бұрын
Unless you have a dishwasher, it's impossible to clean. The top has a double layer of clear plastic where food gets trapped. The two layers do not come apart. This is all over the Amazon reviews. I sent mine back and got the newer model that has only one on-off button on the handle and the two speeds on the outside of the motor body. It's easy to clean. It also comes with a blade for making whipped cream and other things. I think the model reviewed here is discontinued.

Hi, I see you have reviewed many small food processors. I would love a recommendation. I'm traveling in my small homemade camper with solar power and we have an inverter. I'm looking to buy one blending item. I love cooking, and I love everything from smoothies, fine sauces to salsas and homemade fruit and nut bars. In your opinion which of the very small blenders or food processors would you recommend for both well blended, and chopped foods? Smaller the better? Thank you, Amie
@bestkitchenreviews8 жыл бұрын
Hi Amie, this KitchenAid would work for most of your needs. The Cuisinart 3 cup food processor is a little smaller so it might not be enough for your smoothies. Here is the link to my review: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHzJqoeamrSLfZo Small food processors will blend, it's just about how much they will hold, the liquid may leak if you put too much in. The Ninja Master Prep is more powerful but larger - a good size for smoothies and anything else. Here is the link to my review: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJ2uhoaHqr2MiLc Hope that helps! Please subscribe if you haven't already :)

This product is not very serviceable because the lid itself does not come apart for cleaning so after a time of use there is a conglomeration of old food under the lid - not at all healthy. Though it works well the plastic is cheap and nasty and falls apart too soon frustratingly. This product is NOT a touch on their fabulous blender which we love!
