@Love2RideItaly5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing! I'll be there end of march 2020. I was thinking to bring with me only a 9mt but you talk about also a 12mt... so the wind it's not so strong every day, right?

Hi Jake. Thanks for the information provided. What about wave riding? Is it possible (and effective) near by (outside of the lagoon)?

Hey! I was same week as you in Dakhla and for me it was not possible to bring the Drone with me... any Idea, recomendation or whatsoever? How did you do it to bring it ? I'm going back now in April and I would love to be able to fly it there!

Hi Jake and family, what is the best time to go to Dakhla, i mean with less people but good wind conditions? Greetings
@rade99025 жыл бұрын
ve been to Tarifa in September and October, massive amount on Kiters...not comparable to Dakhla?
@JakeKelsick5 жыл бұрын
Yo dude! Not actually 100% sure on when is the best time. But Dakhla is pretty big so there is always room for you to get in a sweet shred without being rammed with people. But I'd say head over to heli.life/dakhlapk25 and hop in the live chat and the Heli guys should be able to fill you in a bit more on this.

I thought the "kh" in daKHla had to be pronounced like an "r" so it would sounds like "darlha".
@pandipanda8806 жыл бұрын
Gaspar Goubert Exactly, it pronounces "Darhla" and this is so unconfortable when he says with a K 😂
@sekkatk6 жыл бұрын
Gaspar Goubert no, it's pronounced like Jose. If you can't, then an R would do.
@gaspargoubert85406 жыл бұрын
K S wtf, an r wouldn’t just do, it’s the basic way to pronounce it

Pandi Panda ok, so I wasn’t wrong for the 5 last years speaking about this spot

Nice video Jake. I really want to learn how to kite surf. Maybe we could meet up at some point if you come to the East Coast of America. I live in Charleston SC which is a few hour drive from Hatteras in the Outer Banks where there can be really good kiting conditions. If you come to Charleston I will also take you to the local wake board park I go to. I am also thinking about getting a job in the Caribbean this summer working for a sailboat charter company down there and would maybe do some kite boarding when I have time down there. Hope all is well with you
@JakeKelsick6 жыл бұрын
Do it dude! A good way to get to see the islands and get the chance to shred in paradise. Charleston is a cool town tho man. Got to check it out for a few days a few years ago actually have a pretty strong island vibe to it.
@billlawmarshall51976 жыл бұрын
There is a lot of wind here in Charleston. There is also a good kite boarding shop around too. The problem with learning in Charleston is that it is pretty expensive but I am not going to let that hold me back
@billlawmarshall51976 жыл бұрын
If you ever plan on coming back to Charleston let me know. I would love to meet up with you

Non, Darla n'est pas le paradis du kite far trop souvent non venté même les mois les plus prisés. C'est par contre le paradis du marketing.
