Hello, well i learned to kitesurf using seat harness, 1 month ago i decided to purchase a waist one and it seems that i cannot go upwind anymore, switch to the seat harness, voila, upwind ability is back again! You guys think that this is going to hold me back on my progress? Also please advice me on some very good hing end seat harness to purchase, cause the one i have is a cheap one, so if im gonna stick with a seat harness i want to have a high end one that maybe, if there is such a thing, can give the features of a waist harness and help me progress. Thank you!

Sounds like you'd love the Dakine Fusion. It is by far the most popular harness and offers a lot of support. Having a seat harness will not hold you back in progression. We have a lot of riders that prefer seat harness and that's all the ride. Jeff has done a review of the Fusion which can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4eQpaieo6aUkM0 kiteboarding.com/proddetail.asp?prod=dakine2016_fusion We have heard people say that a seat harness can hold you back, but Jeff has ridden for years doing all the tricks the guys in waist harness do. Here is a video on of our locals (@Chad.361) did, you can see Jeff in a seat harness, obviously not being held back ;) vimeo.com/168549126
