Rajesh Roshan composed this music way before in the 70s. He wanted Kishore Kumar to sing it but unfortunately the music couldn't fit in any of the movies at that time. Then in 2010 he told KK to sing this one for him and also told him that 'No one in this generation can sing this song, except you' . That's the magic of KK. If Kishore Kumar couldn't sing it, the modern Kishore Kumar (KK) sang this melody. It was a story narrated by KK in one of his live shows. Most favourite singer of all time❤️
