It's completely heartbreaking. Can't believe it. KK passed away today (May 31, 2022) at the age of 53 during LIVE performance at Kolkata. There are times when your songs are one of those companions day and night, and I am alone. It has been continuing since my childhood till date, and it will be forever. Exam night, lonely night or cheerful night or sad/frustrating night, you name it. Thank you for providing numerous songs to live with. You will live forever with us with your songs-singer for the generations. Rest in peace, KK! Too early to be departed!

It's such an ethereal feeling that His songs made us to forget the world, even ignore the fact that who is singing and simply connect with oneself, one's innermost hidden self which is the safe locker house of most tender emotions !! No other Singer's voice matches this unique ability to draw us to a state of trance like KK Sir. What a beautiful song, bring back so many memories. Back in school my friends and I used to dream about travelling to other countries, driving expensive cars, clubbing but now when I am out here in Canada. I realized what I missed, those school days, those night outs, those never ending talks, all night planning and bunking classes, morning breakfast after nightout. Wish I could go back in time and live those days just once more. I wonder why we humans are like this? Never satisfied or live the moment.
