What could happen if you land with the stab in front, because trying it toeside or blind? 😅 In twintip its so easy to chose how to land, that i am afraid to use the same techniques and chrashing to nasty

Thanks for your great tutorials. Maybe you can help me what I am doing wrong. I can jump really high with the foil, but even in small jumps when landing the foil enters the water and shoots forward and down until the nose is below the water and I crash.

I'm not ready to start jumping with foil yet, but very nice learning about double movement, need to practice that more with twintip. I use foil kites (Flysurfer Speed), so they are slower to turn, not sure what is best for them. Would be very interesting to see a comparison video about differences in jumps between kite types. 😉

That's a good idea to work on the double movement with a twintip. If you're using a larger foil kite (say 12 to 21m2), then it will be difficult to use a double movement due to the slow response. However, with those larger foil kites you don't really need to maneuver much. Their slower speed means they won't overfly the window much, plus they provide tons of lift at the edge of the window anyway so you don't need to move them downwind of you (fully into the sweet spot), you just need to reach the edge of the window near 12 to avoid stalling. With smaller foil kites you can use similar technique to an LEI, as they will respond quickly. I will be making a few tutorials about ram air kites, but probably not this year as my schedule is full already. Best of luck, Alex.
