Immaculate work as always, Evan! Can see you are busy busy busy. Are you yet able to comment, post testing, on the weight and balance upgrades you were testing on the Slings?

If you’re referring to the firewall ballast to counterweight the parachute, it works great, 50lb at the firewall is what it requires to keep the plane in good cg. Of course keep in mind that’s 50lb of useful load, but for some families it works out if they’re on the smaller side, like the owners of that tsi. For larger people, there may not be a perfect solution, but I’m always working on these little things in the back of my mind so maybe a better solution will present itself in the future!

The reference to your previous video where did you put the ballast in the engine compartment is it only gearbox is it on the firewall ???

Thanks.,, I think I'm going to try on the front of the gearbox that way it has a better arm... And combine that with a normal heavy battery that would be on the firewall

@@steveyoung6787 sure, good luck! You’ll need about 40lb on the gearbox to get it to work properly. And that’s if you remove the counterweight from the elevator as well. Otherwise 50lb. I didn’t trust the gearbox to hold that kind of weight without damage

Mine did not come with an avionics cable tray. Is that part of the drop in panel?

You should not be drilling any holes into the frame at all. Like the cable tray
