I really like your no BS straight to the point unapologetic style. Its awesome. Its the way aviation should be. I was looking at your videos to see which one people found the most help just looking at the views.... 2.5k, ok 1.5k cool 2k yep 10k... Oh....fuse covering...hmmm.... really? Then I realise your very cute other half is doing the feminine "Tada" pose....Of course. What would a bunch of men click on the most....😀 Great vid. I am going to watch them all. I like that your giving a summary of the experience not a how to set of instructions.

On the factory LSA’s they don’t wrap the fabric over the door frame, you want to bring it over the first step and cut it before going up and over the door frame. If that doesn’t make since PM me and I’ll send you a picture. If you wrap all the way over like you have done, you will eventually wear through the fabric with the door.

I know it’s frustrating but soon you will be able to fly. Just picture the fun you will be having through the work. Best of luck.

Dude you have to wear gloves when working with MEK. That stuff is not good for you.
@gusbisbal98038 ай бұрын
its not that much different from Acetone. Its actually acetone with mentholated end. Not saying that gloves are a bad idea just that it is not going to do too much to your hands. Using it in an enclosed space without a filtered mask.... thats another thing. Without ventilation your going to be getting an ever increasing dose through your lungs. That is DEFINITELY not good for you. But definitely gloves are worth it. Basically like any chemical other than water. Even oil and fuel, you will be going to bed smelling like you gas tank.

Have you tried using a steamer before ironing to help ease the fabric into flattening out better? Or would that just make it worse

I really like your content and am close to buying a series 7 kit. But I need to build an outbuilding to build the plane. How wide is your garage door? If its less than the width of the plane do you angle it in and out?

There is a girl that covers planes and has a KZbin channel. For a first timer would you pay for that service as she does an magnificent job or do you think its a mandatory part of saying you've built a kit?
