Brandon & Heather get the horizontal tail into the fuselage and drill the Slider Blocks. Look for a few helpful tips on drilling and some process that will assuredly save some head scratching.

It’s incredibly generous of Kitfox to support their builders with these videos. The motivation is obviously not that you need to generate more sales; the kit order wait list grows weekly. Your interest in Kitfox builders is clearly demonstrated by the time, effort and resources invested for our benefit.

Thanks Brandon and Heather, these videos are soo helpful and I know y’all have limited time in your busy schedules to bang out videos. Please keep them coming. They are much appreciated.

I hadn't seen that drill lube/wax stuff before, but I will be sure to pick up some of that up! Thank you Brandon and Heather for the videos.

don't you have to adjust the front of that with shims as well ?

Is that Boelube you're using there, or some other similar product? I know it's more work, but it might be a good starting point for folks new to aircraft building to list a few details of consumables you guys use in each video, in each video's details section - just an idea. :)

Surly you should be using a rule to measure the hole centres not a tape measure.

Surely.....a tape measure worked just fine, as shown in the video. 😉

camera focus.... PLZ;;;;;;;;

We've been playing with some things to help the focus issues. We've figured out that it doesn't play well with our powder coat color and the background. But also please remember we are professional airplane builders and not videographers. 😉

@@KitfoxAircraft That bloke Trent's probably got some useful tips he'd be more than happy to share - esp considering all those rescue missions you guys have been called out on 😉 As you're discovering though, autofocus from one camera to the next can be super frustrating - and might even be worth turning off, stopping down (the lens aperture) for a little greater depth-of-field (of focus) - and increasing camera ISO rating (to offset that smaller aperture) - modern video camera's can have pretty amazing high ISO abilities, compared to what old film cameras could achieve. Every day's a school day - thanks for the great content and keep it coming regardless of vlogging perfection! 🤗
