Well there is a little truth in it. Since most high tier surv ban her, mostly the S badge sangria comes from lower tiers and higher tier sangria are insanely strong but still able to kite her is amazing

tbh this smurf strategy will never not be unfair to me. like, it ruins the fun for lower tier players who are actually trying to rank up/get better at the game and not just grinding for a badge (which means nothing tbh). if they're that good of a player, why don't they just stay in the tier which fits them, according to their skill? also geisha you're amazing at playing journalist! some people consider her a "weak and not viable character" but you're here, doing her justice ❤

Tips for kiting Sangria: 1. DONT panic (for all hunters really) 2. Pre-drop pallets when she is approaching (dont go for pallet stuns, her hit animation is really fast) 3. Tight kite her (transition only when theres no more pallets) 4. Transition to pallets 5. Transition to areas with few shadow zones for her to dash to 6. Watch her shadow clones (to see if she is going back) 7. Run against pallet but DONT vault to trick her into going back to her shadow clone (works because she is a fast-paced hunter so hard to see if you are actually vaulting) 8. If you have character with really FAST vaulting, vault pallet and back (dont recommend unless cornered) 9. Emote while running against pallet to make them think you are in vaulting animation 10. Play her to know how to counter her If you do it correctly, you can kite her at least 60s at 0 presence

I do think she is the strongest hunter in the game but that doesnt mean she is unstoppable especially good patient and smart survivors will read me like a book and do a 3 cipher kite easy nuetralizing her immense pressure and at best i get a tie unless they make big mistakes, i say this as an A badge sangria on mobile who doesnt smurf like the s badge sangrias in fact i have gotten pretty long kites against other A badge sangrias since i know her cooldown + speed boost + quite well

Also for the people who wanna know how to counter journalist Dont hit orphy let them camp the pallet and then once you have you ability back let orphy drop the pallet her cd starts when orphy dissappears so this is the perfect time to go after journalist and thats also the reason why flywheel is good on journalist

Yup ik that hunter's strategy, for anyone that wanna know how to counter that hunter's strat as journalist: after incase* hunter let orphy drop the pallet intentionally and not hitting him >> 12:19 I alrd stand by near other pallet so I can drop the other pallet to block hunter way and forcing them to break down pallet ☺ >> This is the anticipation strategy as journalist, never pallet camp too near with orphy pallet and always think other option / way to go when kiting. And sorry I disagree with flywheel for her why because she build as rescuer character ( as a rescuer char she has debuff for decode too just like naib, FO, etc.) and the reason why I started to play as her is because 95% of our rank no one wanna pick rescuer or bring 36 🥲 Yes I think we all know that it is gonna be way easier to kite either with flywheel or broken window and it's gonna be more challenging to kite with 36, but somehow it's also my strategy to make hunter eager to chase me and can make more videos for viewers 🤭 (because hunter think is easier to chase someone with 36) *tbh me & Bleber met so many random recently that even bring BOTH 129 and die super fast like 15-20 sec 😩😩 we need to carry so hard and ngl it is painful, so yeah at the end it back to the player skill, game sense, & experience whether they can kite long enough or no with any persona.

Don't get the haters, for me your videos are big help, i can Kite for 3-3,5 ciphers because of your tips. ❤ But imo kite against Sangria is better then against Ann. 6:42 Tbh i feel the haters that are saying "you bring hunter to the Decoder." Some Kiteing people bring hunter to the Decoding one, i always ping where i am and the cipher progress, a bit later i got Heartbeat and pallet throw Sounds, yes the Luca was in a weird spot, but some haters only got the PoV of themselvs like me, i don't know if the kiter is doing it on purpose to come to me, but in the end just try to hide as you said, don't leave tracks and the hunter will follow his first target, hopefully 😅

Hey Geisha have you experienced a rescue using Lil Orpheus after you escaped and it does not count towards your deduction at the end? We managed to all escape and the Hunter chaired the Seer right next to the Exit to try to take me down as Journalist and the Acrobat who escaped on time and my Lil Orpheus and Tide Turner managed to save the Seer!

I've experienced similar situation like you, so I rescued batter on detention mode with lil orpheus then we go out together with tide turner active, the rescued still being counted at the end for me, umm I'm not sure why the system didn't count it for you tho, hmm did you get out before lil Orpheus finish the rescue animation?..

I did show it 01:45 and 17:37 Intentionally throwing with other char account to stay on lower tier with smurf acc. Lower tier = only 1 ban. Anyway I showed the data here just to tell that hater that this is the reason why me & Bleber never met them because they have lower rank tier than us. We don't have any problem with sangria main using this strategy to maintain their badge ya etc. this is just to give some insight to that person that didn't check data but talk only. But for me & Bleber, general win rate is important, but well we understood that they did this in purpose to stay on lower tier by throwing anyway.
