Seems odd to me the cost is higher without the complexity of the leading edge slats. The other mods are mostly materials.

The cost difference in mainly due to the advanced kit, with significantly more CNC match-drilled final hole size parts

Yes I agree but that's how companies get around that ,in this economy they can't raise it on older models so they make them less complex but more expensive ,.
