Great diagnosis job. The wiring diagram showed two powers and three grounds. The actual ABS module had the opposite - three powers and two grounds - the ones you measured. Cold we have pulled a wrong wiring diagram - I'm lost there.

@charlesabura472 there an error on the wiring, the ABS module had 2 ground wires and 3 power wires, I think I mentioned it in the video! Sorry if I forgot, and thanks for pointing that out!

Hi Deo, is there another way to test the communication wires without the use of a scope? Perhaps using a multimeter to test frequency etc, I don’t know!

@joelawoyomi9102 you can use a multimeter to test the network however tthe down side about that is that you can miss a potential issue in the network, because the meter is not fast enough!

I have been waiting for you to make a video about my current problem and this seems to help little I have the brake light staying ON on the dashboard and my braking is hard and not effective. I don’t have any ABS staying ON or any DTC for the ABS, but I’ve got DTC for the accelerator pedal and the vehicle is in limp mode. I have DTC codes 2242-001 and 2208-001. CAN BUS- can signal ‘brake request of driver from control unit ESP is implausible CAN BUS- CAN signal ‘brake signal’ from control unit ESP is implausible This is a functional CAN fault according to Mercedes. And it’s set because of an implausible CAN input signal. The cause of this is not the CAN networking, but the transmitter control unit I wish I was in the USA to bring this vehicle to you to fix once and for all. This problem has been lingering for over 2yrs. Kindly help a brother out on how to go about this fix I like your systematic approach to fixing faults

We don’t have any Mercedes dealerships close by here and the Benz specialists all say they don’t fix Diesel engines. Luckily I have the xentry software and I’ve done so much electrical work myself on this sprinter watching all your videos from day one. I feel like fixing this brake light on the dashboard will take care of the accelerator pedal DTC

That 40 amp circuitry is also a known issue over time. The fuses have an issue and there is a MB Tech Bulletin out for it. That circuitry probably should have been larger gauge throughout the circuit. Things like a battery getting older and lower voltage overall increase the amps in the circuit. Tech Bulletin... LI54.15-N-064960 If there is a fuse issue like this and a tech bulletin issued there is a problem with too many amps in the circuit.

I thought about sending you an email but I don't see your email address anywhere. Regarding Scanners...I know I've seen you using a SnapOn Zeus and I know you've used an Autel. I currently have a Bluetooth OBD II scanner that I use with my smart phone. I think it works pretty good. I use it on my 1998 GMC Sierra K1500 all the time. But, I'm thinking I would like to buy a scanner that will allow me to do functional tests like I saw that you did on a turbo actuator and I think on a Sprinter Injector. With a limited budget, what scanner would you recommend that can do functional testing? Thanks! Dan

You mentioned most of the problems for a dead module, pls don't forget to mention a WAKEUP signal, which not all modules have but it needs to be looked into if it is a requirement. YES, you are the Sprinter GURU so you know already what is required LOL. in my opinion, checking fuses is a waste of time, if power is at the module, the fuse is good, the wire is good, connectors are good if the test light pulls a good amount of amps. BEWARE of a high-impedance multimeter or scope meter. You were front probing for powers and grounds, so why back prove for IGN power, this only damages the environmental packing when not needed in this case. WHY test for 3 powers and 3 grounds making 6 tests when you can jump one ground pin to one power pin in 3 tests or build a test light BOB to plug in for one test with the key on since you work on these so often? The curved CAN line is typically added resistance in the circuit. Good enough proof testing, no need to check CAN resistances, it may only show a reason for the curved line?
