Ich denke es wird auch so harmonisch bleiben. Buster ist ja eh die Ruhe selbst. Die 5 Kitten haben Freya ja auch viel abverlangt. Sie wird sich jetzt erst einmal von der Kittenaufzucht erholen. Aber sie hat das so supertoll gemacht. Luna ist ja auch nach anfänglicher Skepsis superlieb zu den Kitten gewesen. Und Dexter hat sich auch ganz toll verhalten. Ada wird noch genug die Erwachsenen fordern, gerade jetzt wo ihre Brüder nicht mehr als Spielpartner herhalten können. Aber das ist ja das Wunderbare an den Maine Coons, das sie so sozial ihren Artgenossen gegenüber eingestellt sind. Bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen brauchen Coonies einfach Artgenossen. Ich habe hier auch ein ganz tolles und harmonisches Trio, aber nur unsere Jüngste ist ein Coonie Mädchen. Wir haben uns ganz bewusst für eine Maine Coon entschieden nachdem wir zu unserem EKH Mix Kater Milo einen Maine Coon Mix Kater dazu geholt haben. Seine Liebe zu Menschen ( was fast ein Wunder ist nachdem er so herumgereicht wurde , wir sind schon die 4. Besitzer in 1 1/2 Jahren ) und Artgenossen , aber eben auch seine Schönheit und sein ausgeglichener Charakter haben uns so fasziniert. Sylvester hat erst mit dem Einzug von Ayla richtig begriffen, dass er hier nicht mehr weg muss und sein Für-immer-Zuhause gefunden hat. Seitdem zeigt er auch ausgiebig wie temperamentvoll er sein kann. Es ist immer wieder eine wahre Pracht, wenn diese 3 hier miteinander herumtollen, aber auch miteinander kuscheln und sich gegenseitig putzen. ❤💞💘💘💘 Und jeden Tag auf's Neue begeistern sie mich, bringen mich zum Lachen und ich bin dankbar für ihre uneingeschränkte Liebe, die sie uns, ihren Menschen, geben. Ich mache mir gar keine Sorgen, dass Buster, Luna, Dexter, Freya und Ada nicht weiterhin so eine tolle und harmonische Familie sein werden. Our sweet Ada! She misses her brothers/playmates. She seems confused as to where they are. She was the alpa--the caretaker of the litter--and now her charges are . . . gone. So much hair. My cat did excessive cleaning and I had a giant vet bill because she couldn't poop even after all the grooming. I tell her no licky lick and take her mind to a distraction. Nothing like any animal licking. Our hamster went in cage to the bathroom at night from running in it's wheel with corn in it. So much noise and we had a long day without a High School where we lived. I worked and our days were 12-14 hours and barn chores. Dad worked an opposite shift. Terrible licking and people require 4 hours of sleep or they will die.
