We have two rescued cats ages 11 (short hair) and 9 (long hair) we saved as kittens as first thing we did was get them a warm towel bath. They reacted as if we were the mom cat and got imprinted to us on the spot. All their nervousness after their rescue disappeared with one nice towel bath. Today the short hair one still gets a wet towel bath, and the long hair cat gets his in the tub with the shower hose in slow mode. But if you rescue a cat or kitten, that's the first thing to do, a basic wet towel bath and AVOID the ears and face. For that you use ear wipes once a week or as needed.

I have figured out a way to remember who are two of the three boy kittens in the class: Johnny Cash (mere) and Big Al (cove) Jolson! But can’t remember who Boy 3 is! 🤔

Actually, Alcove is more like Ali MacGraw!😹❤ The other two males besides Johnny Cash (mere) is Gable, maybe you can remember him if you think of Clark Gable? And last but not least is Marshmallow. ❤😻

Is it okay to not rinse the soap off of them? Is it some kind of soap that doesn't require rinsing? Never seen this no rinsing thing done before?

Baby shampoo or mild dishwashing liquid.

@@charlesharris657 With baby shampoo and dish washing liquid yes. Hold the kitten on the bottom and other hand in back of neck. Rinse under faucet. See videos.
