How can you have just a cutout of the text without a background? For example for a T Shirt design, the T Shirt color itself or the cloth becomes the background. Like cutout text on top of a baseball font tail for example. Thanks for the great vids!

Hey there! You can decrease the opacity of the fill on text, and leave the outline of the text turned on (over in the border setting). Give it a try!

Hey there! It's a little bit difficult to interpret what you mean, but as long as the object and the background are separate, you should be able to change the background with no issue!

Hey! Thanks for this tutorial. I've been wanting to do this with the image behind text instead of masking, but then keep only the letters with image. Would I just release the background? Or, just upload without background?

Hey there, I would try both! You can release the background to not have it "stuck" or "fixed" which might alleviate the issue.

I love this but when i select shift hold for both layers it only shows the settings for position on the page and not the option for othet texts. Am i doing sometbing wrong?

Hey there! There is a layer of text in front, and in the back. The front text is just the outline. :)
