Kitty Hart-Moxon was just twelve years old at the outbreak of the Second World War and fifteen when she and her mother were deported to Auschwitz. Amazingly she managed to survive the daily terror that she faced, and was eventually freed from the Salzwedel camp by American troops in 1945. Since then she has dedicated her life to raising awareness of the Holocaust.

She is a hero of mine. I love her , dearly. Not only because I am Jewish , but , because she has taught me that life means more than taking a breath. Life means knowing your story and sharing that story with others. You can keep your pop stars and actors... To me , there is no other human alive that I would rather meet and shake hands with. Miss Kitty , you don't know me , but I simply adore you. And I will never let your story be forgotten.

A bright, intelligent, strong woman. You've been to Hell and back. Most people can't even imagine what you actually had to endure. Thank you Kitty for surviving. Thank you for telling us your story.

Where was her seat so she could sit while her intro was being read. Also her mics need lowered. The crowd look bored, perhaps they have been seated for ages and are too hot but they need to really LISTEN to this extraordinary woman and absorb it.

They flushed Jews out of Europe like trash I commit love to these poor people who suffered so much.No race or other person is above another person .God has made us all precious.God have mercy on German SS officer's souls from these horrific camps. They are no doubt burning in hell for eternity. The strife and fear these people suffered daily was unimaginable for people to fathom. Racism in America has to stop ✋ 😢 And I don't mean blacks and whites but for all race's. I mean humanity!
