I found this when doing my first blanket, I only did the edges...I had to do a desperate search as I’m going to do the whole pattern for blankets for my five grandchildren. So very glad I found this video again!!!

I just found out I’m pregnant with baby number two and now I really want to make this quilt 😍. I’m a crocheter and a novice sewer, but this looks like so much fun.

Kitty! I just made this blanket using your tutorial, I don’t have Instagram but want to show you! I used an ivory linen and dark to light shades of blue embroidery floss 💙

I love this so much and am currently working on one as well! When you're finished, do you wash it in your washing machine then hang dry it? Or can it go in the dryer on low? Trying to Google and having a hard time finding a proper answer.

So simple and precious! I think that scallop design would be adorable if you chose a few shades of floss! More time consuming because you would have to switch colors each row, but such a cute end result!

When using embroidery thread, you divide the strands from each other. That way using one strand of embroidery thread rather than the whole clump of threads.
@nanettejernigan73382 жыл бұрын
I think Kitty used the whole clump, as this is the look she is going for and it looks wonderful!

Can we do the machine stitching instead of hand? Any reason you did by hand?

What kind of thread did u use?

Oh my gosh I know I am so late, but where is your little cradle/bassinet from?
@sarahelliott2046 Жыл бұрын
I wanna hand quilt but I'm worried about how it will last over time... one thread is accidentally cut and the whole thing could come apart 🤔 I think I might just use my machine
@Berserk_Alize35 ай бұрын
The same scenario could happen with the machine.. maybe try something smaller for hand quilting 🙂
