Hey thanks for your tutorial. I have a question though, maybe you have a good solution. I need to manipulate the audio files in my app. In Python you usually require the pydub module, which is based on ffmpeg encodings. However, the ffmpeg binaries have a size of 20 MB, which would significantly increase the size of my app on Android. Do you have any good solution for that? Is there a way to add only part of the ffmpeg binaries? Or are there Python libraries that don't require ffmpeg to manipulate audio files such as joining them? Or is there a way to compress the binaries and decompress them when I need them? Hmm...

As of today March 2023, the module Audio plyer is not implemented. Code looks like this: def _start(self): raise NotImplementedError() def _stop(self): raise NotImplementedError() def _play(self): raise NotImplementedError()

You have a couple of confusing and unnecessary lines in your example: 1) you do not need to import ObjectProperty and 2) you do not need the class variable audio as self.audio is not the same as AudioInterface.audio. The audio variable you are using is defined in the kv string and created by builder.

plyer doesn't work in some systems...But it will work in android after conversion...
