Kiwi Moon by Danielle Sainte-Marie

This poem, Kiwi Moon, is about false convictions, where people are given the death penalty and then often executed for crimes they didn't commit. The setting for the poem takes place after a woman has walked the plank on a pirate ship. The poem also has another two meanings, which concern philosopy and religion, but I will leave that to be discovered further by only the most discerning of readers (look for capitalizations). ~Danielle Sainte-Marie
