Music now is ok but not the meanings that alot of people feel. These days so many live in denial only chasing wealth not love. The 70s and 80s no cell phones, not many cameras and we lived in the moment. Crank the rock and go with a case of beer in the back seat and a bottle oh whisky under drivers seat. A few fat joints and set for a road trip. Ya many died but so what we enjoyed life. Now in 2021 i lay alone bored and not 1 person around. Not 1 phone call nothing. If the 80s again we were all out together having fun. Its not how old you get its the fun you had. I turned down a liver cause ya its a reminder of my personal life and i pay the price myself. Give it to someone that cares and not self abuse.

I remember when this video came on MTV what seemed like everyday and my dad always made sure me and my twin brother listened to all the best 80s classics and power ballads. We were young and didn't really get the lyrics but the early introduction of melody and instruments still 30 years later makes my brain release that dopamine all throughout my body. This was a really special time for music because not only was these ballads so well done but you also had the work of art in a video to accompany it. Sometimes the video outshines the song itself. 2020 and still rocking!

This is a masterpiece, Def Leppard, Europe, ACDC, Bon Jovi, Whitesnake and many bands like them really rocked the eighties. Such a shame a lot a music is composed on computers instead of real instruments. Born in 1977 and really rocked the 80's and early 90's

I'm so sorry for you. My husband of 31 years died unexpectedly of a heart attack. He introduced me to these guys during High and Dry album. I have been an avid fan since. Now I'm looking at possibly of Death since my brain aneurysm. The first thing on bucket list was to see them live one more time. I am 56 and live in Portland OR. They were going to be here in October of last year. The Covid out break cancelled it. Now they are going to Washington Tacoma Dome instead. This broke my heart. Being I would never see them again, I went for 3rd row ticket and meet and greet with Joe. His pure amazing voice has kept them going through so many obstacles. I just have to realize I will never see them before leaving this time line. I hope you and your wife had a similar Liking to the band. From one broken heart to another. I go through the motions daily of being ok. I'm not. He was the one and only true love of my life and will always be. I hope you find another someone who enjoys these guys. Again, I am so sorry.
