OK you got it right in this one. So how can you run more LEDs, like say 15-25? Can you daisy chain the same circuit to run more LEDs?? I made a circuit years ago that drove 3 7 or 8 segment LED displays, and it counted from 0 to 9 on the first display and when it got back to 0 it started on the 2nd display and so on until it counted to 999. It's been many many years since I made that so I don't remember how I did it, but I think it used decade counters to so it. 7474 or something like that. I can't remember.
