To be honest I think it's gonna hurt Luffy when he finds out about garp but I think it's a great set up for the new roger/garp team up with koby. Also I think luffy is only half the key needed to open the door to a new world and koby is the other half. Both of them are just as important as the other and are both needed to guide the world to new beginnings.

I feel like Luffy would have forgiven Kizaru already, it reminds me of the “I m glad I met you guy here, now I m stronger, scene he had with Blueno of CP9. He wasn’t angry, they took Robin and caused them so much pain but in the end, when he was sure he was gonna take her back and end all of this, he said he was glad all of that happened. Yes Kizaru being there delayed them by 2 years and split the party, but had that not happened they wouldn’t have survived a single day in the New World.

If I remember correctly during marineford he took people's shadows and used them during daylight so the vampire weaknesses was briefly retconned. ​@@thewartheoryguildKizaru is just somewhat of Sengoku's successor.That was revealesld during Tiger's story in which Arlong's fate was entirely held on Kizaru's hands after the hit in that village.He could have gone for the kill but he spared Arlong , allowed him to be judged and thus Arlong lived.Sure , that lead to Nami's village be occupied by the Arlong pirates but Kizaru did the right thing.The penalty of attacking Celestials is certified death by the law so Kizaru did nothing wrong attempting to blast Zoro.Apparently he knew who Luffy was and he most likely knew that his grandfather would get involved if something happened to him , he also knows that though old Garp was too invaluable for the Navy so he would most likely not do something serious to Luffy other than just arresting him.

I think about the 100 ships, straw hats grandfleet may arrive at egghead because now egghead is mentioned as luffy's stronghold. But other possibility is that the revolutionary armies may arrive because : 1. Sabo needs to clear Luffy about Cobra's death and tell him that Vivi is also D. and 2. One of the highest authority of the world government, an elder star is out in open. So may be the Revs may not want to miss this opportunity. Then maybe Dragon takes on Saturn and Luffy will complete his another milestone of defeating an Admiral.

The BB pirates have potentially just made a big mistake. Garp has a lot of connections. A lot of powerful people who actually care about him and love him. So let's go down the list here. It isn't a question of if, but when Luffy hears about this. I honestly believe he will be absolutely furious with Black Beard. I highly doubt that he doesn't know that Black Beard is one of the biggest reasons for why the events of Marineford took place the way they did and I doubt Luffy has forgotten about that. The time of when he hears about this is not something I can say, but if it's after his fight with Shanks ( a fight that I think will probably end in a draw) he will immediately express his desire to save Garp. This could also potentially be where we see a change in Luffy. Instead of just wanting to beat up BB, it's very possible that he will intend to kill him or maybe not. I do know that this will be the angriest will ever see him. Shanks will absolutely go with Luffy, not just because he likes Luffy, but also because he has his own little score to settle with BB. Koby will obviously be wanting to save Garp. So, he his going. However, he won't be alone. He will have SWORD with him and more importantly, he will have Sengoku with him. If anyone thinks that Sengoku is just gonna sit around while his best friend is in trouble, then you're insane. Sengoku will be livid about this and he will bring the pain for this. Smoker will also be coming along as well as he has a lot of respect for Garp. Akainu will probably forbid him from going, but Smoker won't care. He will not only bring his crew of Marines, but any other Marines that feel similarly. Chances are, that Koby and Luffy meet each other before they get to BB's island and they are going to agree to work together. Sengoku will note how similar this all looks. In Luffy's place he sees an image of Roger and in Koby's place he will see an image of Garp when they agreed to join forces to defeat the Rocks pirates. However, he will note that the difference here is that Luffy and Kobby are actually friends coming together to save someone they love, instead of just because they have the same enemy. He will likely smile and say something about how the future looks bright for these young ones. Dragon and Sabo will hear about this and will absolutely go to fight BB and his crew. Garp is Dragon's father and I'm willing to bet that Dragon has immense amount of respect and love for him. Dragon would never question Garp's integrity or his intentions. He knows his father is a force for good. He merely disagrees about being part of the WG to make the necessary change to bring about freedom and equality for everyone. He'll also want to pay BB back for the attack he did on the original hideout. Also, he likely knows his son is going to be there and will want to help him. Sabo will be going because of Luffy. Luffy was already hurt when Ace died and won't allow his brother to be harmed in the same way again. Sabo is going to help his brother this time and save Garp. Boa Hancock has obvious reasons for going. BB's attack on her people and her home is more than enough already. Now add in the fact that she knows that Garp is Luffy's grandfather AND still remembers Marineford. She will be going to help the one person she loves most of all in the world and save him from having to experience the same level of pain he had with Ace's death. She saw how devastated Luffy was after that. He was almost broken. She won't let that happen again. I know Marco just helped with Wano, but honestly it makes sense for him to come back here. I imagine he will want to make BB pay for what he did to his father. Chances are, he will track down the old WB crew and assemble them one last time to fight BB. This time however, they will have all the people I stated above helping, so they won't be alone. This crew's motivation is obviously centered around revenge. These are all the people I could think of off the top of my head. So, as you can see, this has the very real potential to backfire and bite Black Beard on the ass. If this happens, there is no way for him to win. None. Period. He will lose and die. Thank you for coming to long winded TED talk of how this could turn out to be very bad for Black Beard! Lol

if you think about it, post time skip follows the same storyline like pre timeskip, just on a bigger scale. Now we have sabaody v2, and if oda is taking out 3 billion berry bounties, what if luffy will beats kizaru, but saturn will take advantage of this situation and do something like capturing luffy, which will be the trigger for the final war(like marineford). Also, if post ts really follows the same route as pre ts, then we would have showdown on egghead as sabaody, then amazon lily( something like elbaf), impel down and final war.

Chapter 1088 just created a nightmare scenario for Luffy. Why? Remember that there's still somebody that we've not seen for a while. Remember Gecko Moria who came to Blackbeard's island, looking for Absalon, only to discover he got killed and his devil fruit stolen by Shiriyu, and was then "kindly offered" to join the crew? And I'm pretty sure everybody knows where Ace's grave is. So can you imagine Blackbeard digging up Ace's corpse, and then having Moria take away Garp's shadow now that he's immobilized, and then putting his shadow in Ace's corpse? How can Luffy face against a brother who he last time saw when he died in his arms, and he has his grandpa's power, under the command of Blackbeard?

If Black Lightning is a trademark of C. Haki, then that means Bartolomeo blocked it with his barrier. The King Punch features a lot of black lightning. Which raises questions. Also, Brook has black lightning around him in Thriller Bark, when he attacks Oars. I know it's just a combo with Nami, but it might be the first time it was done.

Honestly in terms of yonko I think it’s dope that Luffy cracked one first, but it would be such a power move too just be like “ayo Zoro, sanji go slap that admiral” and then just being like “K” it would really show that they stand on they’re own ground aside from they’re captain, and even Kizara would probably say “heyyy that’s not up too you” only for Zoro and sanji too completely hold him back, showing the complete 180 of nothing going they’re way in sabaody, too being able to leave everything in his crews hands so he can take care of Saturn.

I disagree with the combat partners in egghead. We’re so close to the end game, theyre gonna have to break through new ground faster and faster and since I’d like to think that in terms of strength admirals sit right in between commander and yonko so it makes sense that luffys commanders tag team to take one down while luffy breaks major news taking down one of the elders now leaving them only with 4. I would also just love to have more name recognition go to zoro and Sanji. Rather than the luffy and the strawhats took down a baddie but now it’s “OMG commanders zoro and Sanji took down a navy admiral” showing that alone without luffy should be feared

I'm still hoping that Kuzan is like a double agent. Otherwise I feel like he's a very weakly written character. A character as idealistic as he was throwing away those ideals completely over a single defeat would be very hard to accept for me. Especially in a series where willpower and ideals are so core to the narrative. It really would just make Fujitora, a side character in comparison, just a better Kuzan. I want to just trust Oda, but I'm really starting to worry. That being said even if it devalues him as a character it's only one character in a sea of hundreds so I won't be that upset, just feel like it's wasteful.

I doubt Kuzan will just be straight up bad from now on. He's been way too well written for that so far, he's definitely a morally grey character but ultimately he did spare Saul, he spared Luffy. Even if he's truly with Blackbeard he's gotta have some goal in mind.
