I really hope Kizer keeps up with the mystic and militaw. Hands down my two favorite recent kizers

Got a Kizer Momo of my own and the detent feels very strong, to the point where I'm failing the front flip half the time and grating my thumb against the jimping. Hope it breaks in.

Hell yeah!! 🎉🎉🎉 so happy you liked it. I want more colors too!!! Kizer likes to test the market with limited run.

I wish more companies would offer extended spine jimping like on some Kizers. Momo looks like it would be good for food prep. Thanks for the show Stassa.

Ordered mine yesterday. Wonder if a qwikstud will work for it?

It's not official until Stassa reviews it. I like the Momo, but I can wait until it's on sale.

So I picked up a Kizer Brat just shortly after they were released and that thing is an awesome knife. The button mechanism on the Brat looks more like the locking mechanism on a hogue automatic, where the metal bar doesn't plunge into a reccess cut into the blade, instead it comes across the tang of the blade and the tang is rounded into a semi circle so the engagement is snug. I don't really know the difference in official terms, that would be better described by Stassa, I'm sure of that. What I can say is that the lock engagement is way more robust and I can't even fail the knife with spine whacking. You would probably have to dead blow it with something in the spine to enduce failure, and at that point, in my opinion, your outside the operating parameters for a folding knife. What I do know is that Kizer should make all their button style locks that way!

Had my Brat since the day they came out. Probably the best $89 I’ve ever spent on a knife and I’ve got a couple hundred of them! Simply a terrific knife.

My mystic blade had rust spots within the first week . Someone told me in the comments of another video that that steel is supposed to do that ? And it’s patina ??? Is there any truth to that ? I do love the knife I even bought a new Dremel to deepen the grooves on the front flipper but never did when I saw the spots

Stassa & Co. What say you guys? Buy the Militaw first or the Varatas? I can't decide.

Ugh.. I just ordered a Momo, but why?? (already $500 over my knife budget this month)

I would like to have mo of the Momo. I love mine, one of my favs. And I hate front flippers!

MOMO w/o front flipper…please
@gaberoo909911 ай бұрын
Yeah I wish that MOMO had a thumbstud instead of the front flipper. Also would prefer 14c28n, which is a tougher steel than 154 and better, imo, for kitchen use.

Only costs..... I get it but can't afford it. I'm starting to really explore the bottom end of the market ànd finding impressive buys under 10 dollars. We are in.a Renaissance of knifemaking. All the advances have a much better trickle down effect than Regan's economy ever did. Amazing blades for under 10 dollars.
