The Sheepdog is still my favorite blade style and model pocket knife. The Vanguard Micarta version to be exact. It’s a step up from the full titanium model

I've got the mini sheepdog on me today. It's carried as my secondary a cooler days a week. Love both of the Sheepdogs, KIZER kills it on their action. 👍👍 You do damn nice work M.C.!!

I just ordered one of these last night. I just got the mini last week and it's become my favorite little knife. I had to get the bigger one too. I probably shouldn't have spent the money but I couldn't resist. I used the holidays as an excuse to do it lol

I just received my Sheepdog in Carbon fiber and S35VN man it’s a good knife! Worth every single penny even though it was quite expensive! Action is so damn good, and I haven’t handled that sharp a knife right out of the box. Wish the micarta ones with black blade were available were available in Europe, but they aren’t. So had to go with the more premium one. Will for sure be in my pocket 24/7 now.

I was really close to buying a sheepdog but went with a PM3 lightweight (my first Spyderco). Still wants though. So, thank you for the video so I can vicariously experience the sheepdog.

The sheepdog and the T1 are my favorite Kizer. This mid size is the best size in my opinion and the large one as you know is a huge tool to pocket carry. it’s like having another phone in your pocket but a bit heavier! I’ve been using mine everyday since they dropped and honestly it works well for my tasks which consist of a lot of different thicknesses of cardboard cutting.

If you want a Kizer sheepsfoot and don’t absolutely prefer micarta, then the Matt Degnan Guru is also a good option for about $10 more. Titanium, S35VN, and good ergonomics (including finger choil).

I owned one, it was pretty cool. I didn't keep it but I think if it had the EDC Gearhouse treatment with cutting off the flipper and adding a thumbstud or hole,.I would have definitely kept it.

I just got mine, and honestly I'm unsure if I got a lemon, the flipper is super stiff to get started, took it apart and oiled it checked for excess loc tight but I have no idea how to fix it or make it smoother. 🤷‍♂️

The "DLC" is actually ceramic coating and that stuff's heavy enough to justify the weight difference.

Wasn't a fan of the Micarta material. Looks uglier in person and it just feels like the same material made from boats lol. Also it collects oil from your hand and discolors the handle. So if you're into the hype of "It gives it character" then this material is perfect for you lol. Or if you love cleaning your knife after actually using it for something real rather than just leaving it in your pocket... Once again, perfect material for you
