Hello bro i have a question, did you welded the flange to the NGV? And did you only pressed the axle hub/housing into the NGV? No screws? Thanks!

Great for this homemade construction. A question about the turbine wheel. Looks like it's homemade, is it? Stainless steel or inconel? At 100,000 rpm it should be inconel. I am very surprised to see caged bearings. Do they last as long as conventional bearings (ceramic ball)?

The turbine disk i made out of inconel 713......This turbine runs max. 100k/minite with 5kilo trust....thats why i us caged bearings for testruns......At higher rpm i go cageless full ceramic ball bearing.....

@@brambo4776 Finding inconel at a reasonable price is a real challenge. You are lucky to have found one. I built a Fd364 turbine but with a 316 stainless steel turbine... the motor is therefore limited to 80,000 rpm... it's unfortunate. Ok for bearings 👍

What's the type of bearings that will stand the rpm that exceeds 80krpm?
@brambo4776 Жыл бұрын
Rpm up to 110.000rpm.....Just regular bearing but withour the inner case remover that holds the balls inside in place. U can go up to 140.000rpm. ..thnx for answer
