I think this is might also explain why certain celebs sometimes seem to be easily annoyed by relatively innocuous questions… it may just be the culmination of years of resentment and pent up frustration (valid or not) over being asked the same old questions and having to make ‘meaningless’ small talk in service of promoting a project, attending events, sitting for interviews, meeting fans, etc, and then this frustration comes out in the form of abrupt answers, snide, passive aggressive remarks or occasionally even worse… And then of course some celebs are just jerks 🤷♀️

I have said when people have a shorthand or particular way of being around each other, it is hard for someone else to navigate it (intentionally or unintentionally). My family growing up was this way. 4 boisterous kids and 2 hilarious parents - all very quick, sharp, and often sarcastic and witty, acerbically so. People on the outside either got it or didn't. My sister-in-law would leave the room crying because she couldn't keep up and didn't understand it (or us). She was kind of a terrible person so it worked out in the end! When you made the comment that Norwegians don't usually do small talk, you weren't kidding. It brought back memories and a little laugh. My Bestafar rarely spoke and when he did he was curt and to the point. A little gruff too. He scared me a little and I avoided him. I grew up in an area of Seattle that had a very large population of Norwegians. Everybody was like him. I didn't talk to anyone! They were nice, but having a conversation was out of the question. As you can tell, I did not inherit that trait.😉I have always wanted to go to Norway and visit my family's home town, but I think they would deport me for grabbing too much!. Hi Kjersti, another great interview. I like this kind of interview. It's fun and you can see how they are if the cameras weren't rolling. I always love stuff when celebs act very informal and joke on each other. All in good fun. Imo, the guy on the far left, got a little insulted by your costume question of if they smelled. I think the other two were surprised by the question. And to be fair, it sounds like you're asking if the costumes smelled, which is kinda odd to ask. They seemed confused, like where are you going with this. And when you didn't seem to give them grief and seemed ok with them asking you, why are you asking such a question, they had fun with it and played it off nicer. Anthony Mackie did a great job and the middle guy too, of joking it off. They seemed to be real cool with each other. Laughed it off. I love how you remain so composed and calm in your interviews, especially when the interview goes south. Impressive. Also how you remain quiet. You don't add extra inane chatter and not so quick to fill the silence. Which is remarkable. Very hard to do, it really allows the other person to get their words out and let them think while talking.

I cannot understand why respecting pronouns upsets people. It had nothing to do with you. You need not compromise your identity, values, sense of self, nothing, at all-- to show others respect. If you meet someone of a different religion, one with whom you disagree on the entire foundation of worldview and human existence-- do you refuse to address them? No. Does that mean you share anything w them? No. It is not, actually, a massive inconvenience. It's just kind, respectful, and honesty-- easy. So the issue is.... You worry it's contagious and you're susceptible to influence? Or others might assume that if you respect a pronoun, that means you approve of gender identity expression, which means you... are gay, or something??? I'll repeat: respecting another's pronouns has nothing to do with, and says nothing at all about you. Except whether or not you're respectable.

Gonna give my honest take here after watching a few of these type videos this lady has done.. You ask vanilla, kinda silly questions sometimes then get odd non thoughtful answers. Remember this is the real world that’s not always nice for anyone, celebrity or not. I feel like people sometimes have a hard time differentiating between an interviewer being genuinely rude vs making an honest/innocent mistake. And sometimes the people having a hard time differentiating are the interview subjects themselves and they end up taking an innocuous question/comment from the interviewer and misconstruing it as something malicious, insulting, racist, sexist or otherwise offensive/insulting (ie, Blake lively). And then there’s the kind of inverse phenomenon that can also occur where the interviewer may mistake a subject’s genuine frustration with what they believe to be an unfair/inane/otherwise ‘annoying’ question as so-called entitled or diva-like behavior and as a result label that interviewee as ‘difficult’ (as perhaps has been the case with certain subjects like Tom Hardy).

@joseluken8563Ай бұрын
It seems like you asked a question the they were getting all during that junket and it annoyed Sebastian. 5:47 Winston and Anthony seemed to get a kick out of Sebastian getting increasingly irritated by that question continuously popping up. Now I know what the other cast members have said about Anthony and Sebastian, that is that they grew very close during this franchise. I believe Anthony’s intentions were to deter Sebastian from lashing out at you by lighting the mood. 6:07 Anthony even joked with Sebastian cause he saw how irritated he was getting after you basically asked the same question but in a different way. 7:03 I think after Anthony set himself up to be the butt of a joke and Sebastian relinquished to what Anthony was trying to do and started returning the jokes to him. I also have been there petty. You didn’t notice how they started joking with each other and all of a sudden your time ran out.

Hey Kjersti, I can tell you’re not familiar with the relationship and playful nature and friendship between Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. I was wondering how you could promote yourself and get interviews. You know how people send resumes to get jobs. Is there a way you could send clips of your interviews to studios or the celebrities agents themselves? Do the studios pick the journalists? How does that work? Do the celebrities have a say in who interviews them?

I have worked in film/TV for over 33 years and production makes the monster! Some artists are amazing people, but tbh it just comes down to the individuals personality. If someone is an a$$hole, they will become an even bigger one when successful, but if someone is nice, then they become even nicer when they hit stardom as they have 'made it' and very grateful for the opportunities. Production usually let them get away with this outrageous behavior, hence me saying they are the problem thus making the monster. A lot of studios let the artist drink or take drugs before, during and after filming, this is common knowledge and fuels the fire....

The Scandinavians are notorious for not really having sense of humour. I don't want to sound disrespectful but I think the dynamic between the Avengers cast to me comes across as 3 mates rather than three people with problems with each other. If you sat in a room and watched the interactions with me and my mates you would honestly be convinced we all hated each other. It's almost a term of endearment abusing each other. It's definitely a British and American thing.

Did you ever interview celebrities when theyre right in the middle of a scandal, like a divorce due to a cheating scandal, or maybe a death in their family, reports of arguments with other cast members, arrests. I know most of them pull out of their public engagements during these scandals or major life events, but were there ever those who chose to continue their public engagements and you had to interview them? How did you handle those situations? It's like the elephant in the room. I bet it would be very awkward.
