@Flaawsometalk I love watching your interviews with actors (especially Angelina Jolie), you done so well & professional and I'm hoping I want to see Christian Bale in here too. He's my favourite actor especially known for transformation of his body for various roles in his movies throughout of his career including the machinist, the fighter, vice, ford vs ferrari, american psycho and of course his legendary role as batman in dark knight trilogy (which I grew up watching them) ❤

Hello Kjersti. I was "intoduced" to your work in the now infamous BL/PP interview. I remember thinking at the time how truly unfairly and hatefully you were treated for simply doing your job. Then I subscribed to your YT channel. In these last few months, I have watched you be nothing but gracious, professional, and kind to those you have interviewed...even those who behaved badly and didn't deserve that treatment. After watching the last few videos of those professionals who were polite and kind and funny and respectful to you and the job you do for THEM, it makes the horriblly disrespectful and sophomoric behavior of BL/PP even more egregious and hateful. You are doing the entire team of their films the favor of shining a spotlight on their "project" for promotion and hopefully to increase the box office take. You may be doing the work, but honestly it is all for their benefit. I have a new respect and admiration for those journalists who interview the "court jesters" of the entertainment world. Thank you for the jobs you and your partner do! PS..love your pup, Oscar!! One precious pooch!!

I was too old to care about the 'Twilight' craze that made Robert famous, but I have seen some of his indie work and it's great to see that he was able to break away from the heartthrob thing and is now taken more seriously. I've seen more recent interviews with him and he said he is now more comfortable with himself and fame than he's ever been. Nicholas Hoult is another young actor that comes to mind that I think is also very talented and accomplished but remains seemingly grounded and humble. And Bill Skarsgård as well. The fact that they are all young dads as well probably only adds to their down-to-earth attitudes. Nice batch of talent.

I believe that Will Smith was in a horribly toxic marriage with a narcissist who manipulated him into being someone who isn't his authentic self. Narcissists use coercive control to turn their victims into people pleasers (I speak from experience). Hollywood and the fans seemed to un-cancel him last summer with the success of the newest Bad Boys movie, so I think you are safe to talk about him again.

The Michael Douglas story is such a difficult one. Of course I respect his work ethic and him wanting to fulfil his commitments, but I also think people deserve care and space to grieve. Losing your mother at any age is one of the most traumatic things most people will ever experience. I feel like the company/movie studio should have shown the basic kindness to give him some time off. On the other hand, sometimes the pain is just so overwhelming, that you need the distraction of work. Its a tough one...I just hope he wasn't pressured into that situation.
@FlaawsometalkАй бұрын
I think he was offered to take time off. It would have been very insensitive if he wasn't. I remember when my mom died, I was a complete wreck. Not in a million years could I have done what he did. Maybe he wanted the distraction to take a break from the pain.

@SilkyShishАй бұрын
Are you serious? Will Smith slapped Chris Rock and for you to define that as just a couple of rich boys feuding is irresponsible. Will assaulted Chris. It was assault. And Will is lucky Chris did not press charges. The LAPD asked if he wanted to press charges and he didn't want to. If it were a man who slapped a woman would that be okay? And just because they have fame and money, it's okay if they hit each other?? What Will did was completely disgusting and he deserves to continue to remain cancelled.

@@SilkyShish I certainly did not intend to offend anyone. I was hoping by posting the winking and laughing Emoji's that people would realize I was being a bit sarcastic and lighthearted. That whole slapping incident was a farce and totally uncalled for. They were reported to be good friends. Millions of people witnessed Will Smith committing assault on live TV. Chris Rock opted not to press charges. Like you, I found that incredible he didn't. That's why I made my comment. If Kjersti wants me to delete it, I will. Such a hard call with Will Smith, as like you said, he always had such a good, positive energy and was always professional but that whole public thing with Chris Rock was rather off-putting and gave me mixed feelings about him. I know there’s been some things that have come out with Jada being a narcissist and Will being a victim of narcissistic abuse via her and their ongoing marriage… so I don’t know if he’s wrapped up in that and unfortunately is under her spell, or what’s all happened
@kansasgoldilocksАй бұрын
Here's how I look at it. Given the fact that he's been in the public eye for decades and has never had any issues, he may have just had a blip. We ALL have blips. Think about a time when thing after thing went wrong and then something small set you off. If it starts becoming a trend with him, now that's something different.

@@kansasgoldilocks It isn't that he had a blip, as you call it. For me, it was the fact that he made apoloagies accompanied with excuses. He didn't think he did anything wrong until the negativity gained traction and he was forced to acknowledge what he did. He did the talk show round and just made more excuses. Had he just said something like, what I did was wrong and I deeply regret my actions. Nothing more, I think people would have been more forgiving of him. It seems like he had a mental breakdown pretty much. More so than the slap, I found it concerning that he didn't apologized to Chris when he received the award later in the evening. He had at least some time to reflect, but I guess at that point he still felt it was justified (which it never is)

@Flaawsometalk Now, that would be a million view video. Hollywood has its secrets, i guess... what's the darkest moment you have had with a celebrity or studio that haunts you to this day?

Have you interviewed Henry Cavill? How was it?

Noo, unfortunately not

Sorry to break it but most of us could care LESS and LESS about these people. Celebs ain’t the same anymore and we don’t care as much about Hollywood anymore either. 🙏

Will smith deservedly took a lot of backlash for the Oscar Gaff but I think Jada had that poor guy so twisted up from her transgressions that he probably is really screwed up. But it’s ur list and if you think he is a nice guy than you should leave him on the list. We need to quit canceling people just because everybody says to. Unless ur diddy! He gets a worldwide Cancel Card.

I always remember when Nick Grimshaw was asked which celebrity who he’d met was rude he said Will Smith. Apparently he was condescending/ belittling to the BBC receptionist . I’m not a fan, and that Oscar incident was disgusting

Wow, really?! Never heard that story.

Will Smith was always a good guy, with the best disposition and the best energy throughout a monumental career, and we now know that much of that did not reflect his personal life; It was a character that he played for the people, for the media, for the world. Inside doors he dealt with a lot of filth and yet he was always a class act. Until he broke, and the day the world saw him collapse, they judged him quickly and mercilessly. Smith made a serious mistake, but I don't think his lack of judgment that night is more important than so many years of good work. Anyone has a bad day, it's just that not everyone is followed by a camera (nor do they get to explode at the Oscars). So many idiots in Hollywood who did so much wrong for decades and came out unscathed... PS: speaking of Oscar... the best male in the video, without a doubt.
