I live here, and, I'm kinda in a daze...in a good way, of course, but,...I've lived here for most of my 66 years of life, and, trust me, I know what Tulsa has been. I voted for Mr. Nichols, but, to be honest, I never, for the life of me, believed that these people had it in them to do different, to even have the potential to see beyond the black & white of the situation. Tonight, I can be proud of Tulsa, OK. Like Bro. Nichols said, lots of hard work ahead, but, YES, WE CAN!

God, I hope tulsa change 🙏🏾 but, congrats to the first black ever mayor of tulsa oklahoma 🎊 🎉 🔮
It took a lot of deliberation and back and forth , but I ended up not voting for him. I wish him great success.

Y’all get ready for higher property taxes to pay for reparations and equality

Ain’t no one here in Tulsa paying for reparations or anything to do with something that no one presently had anything to do with nor would’ve had if they were even alive 100 years ago

Nichols does not support reparations. He supports housing. Those people whose families suffered may have access to good housing opportunities.
