Great video, thank you! I'm trying to get into the KJV bibles, apologies if this has been addressed before. How can I get around the difficult words? The and thou is fine, it's when words don't mean what they mean today. Like cattle not meaning cows, and meat meaning food etc. Any help would be wonderful. I'm praying on this all the time, and I keep feeling like the KJV is the way to go, but the words man...the WORDS ha ha. Thanks again!

Thanks for your honest feedback and comment. We feel that the Pros outweigh the Cons on the KJV, and the more you read it, the more you will get used to it, and get the feel for the flow of the language and yes, some of the more archaic words. We do have the "Defined King James Bible" for this very purpose: www.thekjvstore.com/the-defined-king-james-bible-large-print/ It adds dictionary definitions of difficult words in the footnotes at the bottom of the page. Those are out of print for an unknown amount of time at this moment, but it's a popular KJV Bible for beginners to the KJV.

David Daniels and Chick Publications offers a little KJV dictionary for $1.50 or so. Also, you might try listening to Alexander Scourby read the KJV if you haven’t already. Have a good day.

What version of the kjv does it use? Oxford? Cambridge? Zondervan?

While the publisher makes no statement or clarification to the "version" of the KJV text used, all of the verse examples we have checked and the many shown in this video align with the Cambridge text, which would be our recommendation and preference. God Bless.
