I have been looking for a life application study bible for KJV for a while. I didn’t know what to call it. I finally found this one. I think this will help me so much. I didn’t want to use another version of the Bible but I needed a better way to break it down for me to understand it better. I cannot wait to get mine! I will probably share it with my fiancé too.

I'm so impressed with this Bible. It has everything I wanted in a Bible. It's now my go to Bible. My number one Bible used to be KJV Open Bible. There's only one thing I don't like about the Life Application Bible and it's the ribbon. It's too short when you place it at Rev or Gen. Would like to see 2 or 3 ribbons. I bought the large font and it reads so nice. I don't care about the size and weight, it's just one super Bible. I see why it's a number 1 seller world wide. Thank you for the great review.

I just got the large print KJV in that Bible,and so far I love it!The large print is so much easier on my eyes- both the main text and the notes are larger.I bought the peony pink leatherlike edition- I plan on adding matching pink tabs to it as soon as I get all the pages loosened up from the gilding.

I never thought a KJV-onlyist would teach me how to use my NLT Life Application Study Bible. Reason being, this is the most thorough video on the LASB I've found. And they're fairly consistent between the translations. Interestingly, the verse ranges listed in "A Harmony of the Gospels" are Textus Receptus, even for the the NLT variant. For one thing, it mentions Matthew 17:14-21, and we don't even have verse 21 in ours. What is different, though, are the maps. Your KJV edition has "Judaea" and mine has "Judea."

We want to encourage bible study as much as we can, so thanks for cluing into that purpose. That's interesting about the comparisons between the KJV and NLT editions. Luckily, Judaea and Judea are the same place, just spelled differently: "the southernmost of the three traditional divisions of ancient Palestine". Also, just to clarify, we are not "KJV-Onlyist" which implies Ruckmanism or cult-like radical extremism regarding the KJV. We simply believe it's the most accurate English translation and is the one we choose to personally read and use as individuals at this company. And we exclusively sell the King James Version as a means of servicing who prefers the KJV (or just want a quality KJV to go along with their other bibles & translations) when the KJV is neglected or "pushed to the back" of most stores, while every other translation is promoted in abundance. An LASB Wide Margin edition would be nice, but it would definitely increase the carrying size and bulk of an already somewhat bulky bible. Thanks for your comment.

In your personal opinion, which study Bible do you like better, The Life Application or The Thompson Chain Reference?

They are completely different study bibles. If we are talking being open to "commentary" and having the most help available right at your fingertips and on the same page, then the Life Application wins. If we are talking "references" and "subject indexes" and wanted to run all of the references or index references on a specific topic, then the Thompson wins. The Thompson just requires more work and flipping around as well as consulting the back of bible features. The LASB potentially has the most useful and comprehensive information available at one time, on the same page or two page spread of any KJV Study Bible. We hope this helps.

How conservative are the notes? What are the notes view in Genes?

The notes are conservative, even in Genesis, though certainly not as technical as say a Henry Morris Study Bible. True to it's name, the Genesis intro focuses more on the "story" and how Genesis means beginnings or origins, and "it unfolds the record of the beginning of the world, of human history, of family, of civilization, of salvation. It is the story of God's purpose and plan for his creation." I.E. Life Application, how does the book of Genesis apply to our lives today. The Vital Statistics, Introduction, Blueprint, Timeline, Megathemes (Beginnings, Disobedience, Sin, Promises, Obedience, Israel) and Key Places in Genesis span multiple pages, are very in-depth and seem to be well thought out. I was wa ting this Bible and committing to saving for it even though living on under a dollar a day i discretionary funds it would take some time to accumulate the funds. Now I am torn because this larr print with so many features to guide self study is perfect for me as a bedridden person in an elder care facility I am not keen on paying communist China for a Bible which the CCP has unalived missionaries for handing out in their country.

First, all bible paper is thin. And given the thickness of this study bible, and the large print, it definitely has to use "thin" bible paper or the finished product would be so thick and bulky that no one would want it. Second, ghosting is exaggerated on videos as we use extra lighting when filming. I like Life Application Bibles but they are terribly made. I have bought several and every one has fallen apart in under 1yr of use. The notes and features are terrific, just not sturdy enough for every day use. Hopefully this edition is better made

@@TheKJVStore good. This Bible is LOADED with excellent notes and wonderful information on each book. I absolutely love the content. I beat the tar out of my Bibles with notes and every day use.
