Great video. I know how much work something like this is to put together, even apart from the work for the project itself.

Great build. Thanks for crediting me for the alternate Barbasol label too, I keep the price low for fans to create stuff just like this :)

So much talent. Very well done. I have a bunch of vials at work. We use them for milk drug residue testing.

Thank you for spray painting like that. Nice and even with bursts, not just a constant stream.

I recently ordered a diversion safe can that looks like the Barbasol can to hide a few flash drives. Maybe one day I can modify it to make my own cryo can replica.

HappyTrooper Sorry to disappoint you mate but I think there might be a mix up, I’m not the bloke who made the files (I sorta wish I was skilled enough to make things of that quality though). Anyway I am glad you enjoyed making it, and i loved the video! :)

Great work! Thanks for sharing. Just to say... The "black markings" on the vials are rubber washers 😉

Everyone always hopes a cool project could be done with 1 or 2 items and a spare hour but its never the case when you want somthing done this good.

Hey, do you have the exact measurement of the spring? I am looking to get the kit but all the ones available are too expensive on Amazon Canada and I would prefer just getting the spring itself. As it will be a lot more affordable for me. Thanks for this awesome tutorial!
@HappyTrooperDotCom
@HappyTrooperDotCom 4 жыл бұрын
Hello, sorry for the delayed response, the dimensions are: 5/16" x 1-3/8" imperial or 9mm x 35mm metric.

What is the size of the orange o ring you used? 62 mm x 55mm?
@HappyTrooperDotCom
@HappyTrooperDotCom 2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, we are using Imperial measurements in the US...hope we can switch to the metric system one day. The measurements of the O ring were 2 inch inner diameter and 2-1/4 inch outer diameter. The width of the O ring was 1/8 inch. Using an online calculator, that translates to appx 51mm inner diameter, 58mm outer diameter, and a 3mm width. Hope that helps. These are the O rings that I used: amzn.to/3uMDLla

My brother...,known for destroying any stuff I own the moment he discovers them, has found the only 3d printed cryocan I bought from eBay... And I don’t have a 3d printer atm. Sigh, I’m going to have to wait until I move out or... if I move out... I got money to afford even a 3d printer, but don’t make enough to purchase an overpriced house..

Great video! I have begun my journey of making a cryocan of my own! I have all the parts and the can ready to go, just need to paint. Any chance you have any more of those 1.5ml centrifuge tubes that you are wanting to get rid of? I would gladly cover S&H.

What is the total cost of the prop? I mean parts, tools and paint, not counting 3dprinter or the total time spent working on it.

Hi I was wondering if the templates to the mg34/dlt19 are in a4 or a3?
@HappyTrooperDotCom
@HappyTrooperDotCom 4 жыл бұрын
Hello, all of the templates were drawn in an illustrator program, and then exported as PDF. The exports weren't tied to a specific paper size like A3, A4, or US Letter (8.5" x 11"). They are basically just graphics in PDF format. I would expect that you can print them on the paper format that you have in the printer. If you print the objects as 'actual' size, it should be accurate. I hope this helps.
@HappyTrooperDotCom

Let me know if you are having challenges with the size. If you need them for a specific paper size, let me know, and I can generate them.

What I was wondering when doing chroming which is better using white or black
@HappyTrooperDotCom
@HappyTrooperDotCom 4 жыл бұрын
In my experience, a black undercoat will give better reflective properties, and a slightly darker finish. A white undercoat looks brighter and less reflective, more like a polished aluminum.
