you just ain't lived until you have witnessed the greatest entertainer that ever lived. I seen all of them but it ain't no contest, hands down the greatest live entertainer to step onstage. So if you never saw him you flat out don't have a clue! Can a man get an AMEN to that........The Killer is at the head of the line.

With these guys you never asked "why is he so famous?" The best performances were live, if they were real musicians that is. Waylon, Willy, Merle, Johnny, marty robinson, the possum (etc.) they all sounded unbelievable in person. I was born in 90, thank god for all the good footage thats coming out of the wood works these days 🎉

Its been a long time since I left that comment here and the Killer is no longer with us RIP. Can't say I feel any different. Like him or not his ability to capture the attention of his audience and entertain them has never been equaled. Its been many years from the last show I attended at the Black Forest club in lower down town Houston outdoors. Sat on the front row and took in a great show. We had some first timers with us that were treated to something they never knew existed and practically never moved a muscle from the start to finish and they thanked us countless times thru the years for introducing them to the real deal. The Killer did not disappoint. The old Panther Hall Ball Room brought all the greats to play there. It was a famous place but I never went there. My parents went there with their friends and we watched on TV every Sat night and Bill Mack was the MC at every show, The Midnight Cowboy on WBAP on the AM radio dial heard across the country by truckers and other travelers for many years. Then took his show to Satellite Radio as the Satellite Cowboy on the Serrius XM dial. Thanks for the use of the hall. Take it home Connie.....
