She is so perfect! And Sissy Spacek did a great job portraying her in Coal Miner's Daughter. I remember watching that movie as a 10 yr old and how deeply it touched me. Especially the bedroom scene and how innocent she was. You wouldn't think she would be living in a small house, being the oldest of 8 children, you would've thought she would've seen something. But it was so real it was like I was going through it with her. The raw innocence of a 15 yr old bride in the 1940s.

You people are nuts if you think many musicians weren't lip-syncing or mime playing during live performances in the past. It's well known that many bands and musicians have had to do it for live shows and television performances across the years. I'm not saying all of them did it or even the ones that did do it did it all the time, but even The Beatles mimed and lip-synced to pre-recorded tracks during several "live" performances.
@BoleDaPole3 жыл бұрын
Who cares? Music isn't about who is most talented, it's about making music that people enjoy. And most music fans these days rather have a big personality that can't sing. It's all about entertainment.

Nobody writes a country song like the one and only Loretta Lynn. Some people may not know that she has had several songs banned from the radio back in the 60's and 70's due to lyrics that made radio stations uncomfortable, and each one became #1 on the charts.
