The old marina centre, two lane drag strip along the seafront, Tiffany's and The Longbar. So many great memories from a youth misspent in Yarmouth on many a friday or saturday night.

Great video - I was actually here with my family this summer of 1990 , I was 12 years old , we stayed at the Malcolm hotel now called the kings , remember going in the winter gardens of an evening listening to singers and my parents playing bingo , also the indoor market underneath the tower was amazing , clothes stalls , books , records and tapes etc , also joy land and the snail rides I went on dozens of times - we came here for 9 years running , last time was 1991 and then I returned on my own in 2010 and then 10 years later in 2020 - great memories

It was a different world back then. People were not walking about constantly texting each other or taking photographs on their mobile phones like today.

Just brilliant. The Regent Bowl, The ABC at the top of Regent Road. Market Row, full of independent shops. Roller Skating at Wellington Pier. The world famous Wax Works, where someone genuinely mistook Shirley Bassey for Hitler Night life? Studio 80, Wheels, Tiffany's. Loads to do. The bustling vibe of a classic seaside town, now sadly diminished like everywhere else

I’ve been to Great Yarmouth in September 2003 is over 20 previous years ago when I was aged 27 years old at the time 🕰️ and it was sunny ☀️ at the time 🕰️. It’s in east Anglia in England 🏴. Plenty of seagulls, buses 🚌 🚍 🚎, trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 , cars 🚗 🚘 🚙 , people and it’s good 👍 fun 🤩 there. The ITV region is called Anglia Television 📺. Train 🚊 🚆 🚂 company in 2024 is called GA - Greater Anglia. There are plenty of platforms at Great Yarmouth railway 🚃 station 🚉. 👍 🏝️ 🏖️

Loved picking out things long gone or closed, like "Wally's windmill" and the Space ship with the waving E.T at Joyland, or the Ghostbusters walkthrough ride with simulator. Brilliant stuff. I'm going for a day out tomorrow as it goes 👍....all my kids love the place still, even though it is a shadow of its former self.

@gavinwolves25286 жыл бұрын
Its a mock paddleboat steamer. It used to be open to buy tickets from for some boating type attraction before the log flume was put it. They removed it all together in the early 2000s I think..
