KL sinkhole: We will not stop until she is found, says SAR op commander

"We will continue searching for the victim until she is found," said Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman.
The district police chief and commander of the search and rescue (SAR) operations made this statement on Monday (Aug 26) when asked about the authorities' next steps if the 48-year-old Indian national, who was swallowed by a sinkhole on Jalan Masjid India last Friday, or her remains are not located.
He also noted that City Hall has barricaded the underground sewer lines at the sinkhole with over 100 sandbags to prevent rainwater from disrupting the SAR efforts.

zaman canggih ni, mcm2 benda boleh scan, even crack kecik dekat line pun boleh cari. wire dalam batu boleh cari. saya faham task ni mmg tak mudah. dan saya faham, certain method yg sy sebut kat atas mungkin tak sesuai utk manusia contoh radiography sbbkan radiation. tapi sy terpikir takde ke cara atau alat yang boleh scan kedudukan mangsa melalui body heat atau apa2 je zaman skrg ni? ni bukan kondem ye, ni just soalan kalau2 ada expert kat sini boleh explain. Saya tetap respect semua yg terlibat dalam rescue team

That is good to know. They should not give up, it reflects badly on the Malaysian Govt, plus, are we going to fill in the hole and make it the poor woman's gravesite? Why is the relevant authorities not using cadaver dogs to sniff out the corpse? Why are they not asking help from outside the country, to people who are experts in SAR?

Firstly its not a sinkhole but a failure of a proper walkway. A sinkhole is a closed natural depression, there is nothing "natural" about this... from what I gather this is the second time this manmade hole was repaired. Anyway, I suspect this victim is miles away from this location probably trapped in the swerer system. RIP!
