Prodigal was such a surprise to me last year and I still think it might be the single most underrated indie game I’ve ever played. I really need to play Curse Crackers, its followup in the same universe, as well as Veritus, its proper sequel which just released this week. Apart from this game’s incredibly well-designed dungeons and expressive character designs, its other highlight is its super catchy soundtrack. It’s mostly chiptune-based, with other instruments leaking in. Prodigal’s postgame content is extensive, and this comes from a great example - The Backrooms are the second casino-based dungeon you visit, and the “Enlightened” version is a remix of _that_ which comes even later. I love its jazzy theme, especially the Enlightened version which adds an even bigger sound and some pseudo vocals. It starts at 1:32. Check the description for a link to the soundtrack.

Oh, that was a great theme! But what is this game about? Normally you put it into your comment but this time I failed to see it.

It's a Zelda-like with some lite life sim elements! I didn't want to give another summary since I've talked a lot about it in my last uploads :)
