i know how hard it is when someone leaves, and especially when they leave during a time of big decisions! Cry all you need to and talk to your parents as much as possible . All of us are here for you too, so dont feel bad about venting to us(especially on life w/ rykel because more of us older fans are there compared to this channel) we will support you!! 18 is a big milestone, especially after dealing with personal issues(i turn 18 next year so trust me i get it) but just remember that youll see klai again. and when you see her next youll have so so so much stuff to catch up on! and youll be starting/preparing for your own mission so she’ll be able to see you and how much youve grown when shes back!!!

Rykel, you will be fine and you will adjust to everything. you are in charge now because klai has something bigger going on and yes doing service. sometimes it isn't easy to step up and fill the shoes of your oldest sister but by doing the things the best you can and helping out your family daily. no one is a burden. just have to adjust to it. when you leave for college Shae will have to step up and take over

You got this Rykel, just be yourself and know your family has got you no matter what the situation. I am the oldest of 4 and the only girl at that, lol. It was not easy growing up with 3 little brothers that were annoying, rambunctious, mean, tons of ER visits(imagine that lol), but the sweetest most loving young men that would fight till the death to protect me cause in their eyes I was their 2nd mother. See I had to really grow up around 8 when my parents took a turn into some things that made them not the best parents at the time so as the oldest I done what I had to do which was mother my younger siblings. My point is that it is ok to have moments you just can not deal with people and it is ok to "fail" if that is what you perceive it as, but instead of seeing it that way look at it as a learning/teaching experience because you learn from it as well as your younger siblings and it is teaching them how to overcome those situations. Never be afraid to ask for help or advice from your parents or anyone you look up to and trust. Sending lots of hugs and good calming vibes.

Awww Rykel! Please please be patient with yourself. That’s definitely the biggest thing. It takes time to adjust. When I was like 12-13 my sister left to be a missionary in Nicaragua for like 3-4 years and the first year or two was the hardest. It’s difficult to be without someone you’re so close to but no matter how long time goes on you two will always have the close unbreakable bond.

You need to reach out to her if you have any Urgencies, just like how she would reach out to you if she had any Urgencies that required your Advice. My brother one time had to go to utah on my birthday but it was for a good reason that was the hardest birthday ever! I couldnt hold it together that day! It was so sad! But I prayed to heavenly father to help me with the pain and sorrow I felt. Just ask heavenly father for help through your pain and greif! he will help you!!!!!

Rykel... Don't cry. My brother went to university ( i'm from England ) 3 days before you posted this video and i was crying. as i'm sure you have found out by now you do miss them but it's ok. I know it's hard to have a family member leave but you will get used to it. I feel really sorry for you that you might not get to see her for 3 years because i get to see my brother every christmas and summer but trust me it will get better. Good luck xxx
