North of KFalls on Hwy 97 in winter is argueably the most dangerous in the whole state. Extreme ice, and local drivers with zero sense. Hwy 62 is an intimate, fond memory for me. I was shocked to see that forest fire damage off the hwy. The Chiloquin area had alot of fire activity in summer '24, a shame. Around 30:00 you get a clear view of the fields and meadows of an expansive valley. In winter stunningly beautiful, and remote. At 36:00, you pass Ft. Klamath, the 1800's site of the Western most fort of the U.S. Army for the soldiers driving the native tribes off their lands. The settlement of Ft. Klamath always seemed particularly eeiry to me. All the years goung thru it gave me the willies. The southern ascent up the mountain to the park can be inaccessible in winter, depending on the snowplows, and drivers' 4-wheel drive. A great vid!!

Awesome, I always love your local knowledge, thank you very much :) It will be sad to see the rest of the fire damage next year.
