Geboren 1975, lebt in Prag und in Kojšice.
In der Didgeridooszene ist der Tschechische Profi-Musiker Ondřej Smeykal ein herausragendes Talent. Mit seinem eigenwilligen Spielstil entdeckt Ondřej Smeykal bisher unerforschte Bereiche auf dem Didgeridoo und stellt mit dem Verschieben der spieltechnischen Grenzen eine Herausforderung für andere Musiker dar. Seine präzise Spielweise zeigt die reichhaltigen Möglichkeiten im Zusammenwirken von Grundton, Stimmmodulation, einem variablen Mundansatz und erreicht damit eine erstaunlich komplexe Spielweise. Die sehr gut komponierten und präzise getimten Songs erwecken bei Zuhörernden den Anschein, mehrere gleichzeitig agierende Spieler zu hören, oder aber, dass Playback und Samplings eingesetzt werden - Ondřej kommt aber ganz ohne diese Mittel aus. Sein Spielstil ist eigenwillig, alternativ und äußerst dynamisch.

Luka, dubravko call him grandmaster for something... Ondrej was playing on the didge concerts when Dubravko was still small Bambino,but I cant say anything about Dubravko because he is also expert on playing and I love him too ,we are all masters..
