Holy crap, once again the KZbin algorithms have taken me to a band I didn’t know I loved!!! I’ve been listening to “Electronic” music since the release of “Phaedra” by Tangerine Dream back in ’74, and Klangphonics are the first electronic band to have completely blown me away since those distant analogue days. This performance is absolutely stunning, and as soon as I finished watching it I went to Bandcamp, bought their catalogue, listened to every track back-to-back, then returned here and watched this performance again, amazed that every live version of their tracks is wildly superior to the originals! My only wish for this performance would be for the guitar to be more forward in the mix. These guys are the spiritual successors to the TD of the ‘80’s and ‘90’s if they had moved into the Techno / House / Chill scenes (which arguably wouldn't have existed without them), especially after listening to “Quichotte Pt 2” again from the live album “Pergamon,” with its blistering, extended guitar solo weaving around and amongst the sequencers. Oh, and I did try to get tickets for either of their 2 London shows next year, but needless to say they’re sold out! 😭😕
@FreeDom-dh5mf2 ай бұрын
Honestly, this exceeds the recorded version of the new album, "Perfect Opposure". and I'm eternally thankful. I was a bit let down by it, compared to the last few years of things I've been able to find to listen to(mostly on YT). You have added all the beautiful sweetening sounds that I always have heard in the previous recordings both studio and live. I am in bliss again. thank you. I am 4hrs drive away from Brooklyn, NY. I am 67 years old but feel ageless when I listen to this. If I can find someone who is as ageless as myself😇 who will go with me, I will be making the trip to the club "Elsewhere" in Brooklyn in February. addendum: Your studio is pretty much what I have dreamed of having, myself for many many years, with all the instruments available to play with in a mix, surrounded by plants and organic natural stuff and the musicians who vibe with me. I am glad to have found you doing it. and doing it so perfectly. thank you. one more thing... Would you like to add a fine mandolin to your collection? I have one I'm not using ... 😉 I'd be happy and honored to make a donation to my Klangphonics family. You would put it to better use than anyone else I could imagine. 🙏

I voted Wednesday, so in fact I’m free to go… but literally just shifted so it’s New and therefore just no idea WHERE I want to go… but a Klangphonics NY concert could so totally bring it and probably bring me some peace. @@MsChris2707 American female here with some German in my ancestry. Katherine Kaufman- minus the last "n". The first time I heard them (Germans do Techno short on YT) I was blasted out of my mind. I listened to everything from 5 years ago and on. I had been waiting for them for a long time- their energy, their spirit, the way they make their music. I'm adopting them as my spiritual musical grandchildren. haha. They belong to all lovers of the Klangphonics. We are a family that vibrates to that certain frequency. ahhhhh. Yeah. Organ-ic, if i dare to say.
I am very thankful for coming across your music. I am 45, and your music makes me feel exactly like when I was young and I met a person for the first time, and just by looking at her you fall for her instantly, and every time you see her, you are invaded by beautiful feelings and just want to see her again and again. I saw your show in Lisbon and it was better than I ever imagined. Listening to this set makes me feel like I am in that show again. Anxiously waiting for the chance to see you live again.
